Stars of the Grand Ole Opry [Select-O-Hits]

Stars of the Grand Ole Opry includes 12 country performers associated with the famous radio program during the '40s and '50s. While only two of these performances were recorded live (Minnie Pearl and Justin Tubb), the remaining tracks are studio performances by Cowboy Copas, Lonzo & Oscar, Curly Fox, Willis Brothers, Dottie West, Jim & Jesse, Dave Dudley, and two Opry stars who would go on to star in the long-running TV show Hee Haw, Archie Campbell and Stringbean. ~ Al Campbell
