Subservience

After his wife falls ill, Nick purchases a domestic AI to help with daily household chores and care for his children. But the AI, Alice, is a learning humanoid SIM, eventually becoming conscious and sentient. With this sentience comes all the desires and emotions of any human, which makes Alice a danger to Nick's entire family after she becomes emotionally attached to him.
