Sweetness in the Belly

This transnational drama traces the story of Lilly Abdal, an Anglo-Irish woman who grew up in Morocco as an orphan and embraced Islam from an early age. She is forced to flee to England and build a new life there after a civil war breaks out in Ethiopia in the 1970s.
