Tarzan Collection: Starring Lex Barker

After Johnny Weissmuller stepped down from his portrayals of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes in the early 1950, another actor took over the role: Lex Barker, best known to art film connoisseurs for his prominent turn in Federico Fellini's LA DOLCE VITA (1960). This box set contains all five of the Barker Tarzan outings: TARZAN'S MAGIC FOUNTAIN (1949), TARZAN AND THE SLAVE GIRL (1950), TARZAN'S PERIL (1951), TARZAN'S SAVAGE FURY (1952) and TARZAN AND THE SHE-DEVIL (1953).
