Tennessee Christmas features ten country music artists performing holiday favorites. Some of the better-known performers include Reba McEntire ("Away in a Manger"), Loretta Lynn ("First Noel"), Brenda Lee ("Christmas Song"), the Oak Ridge Boys ("Christmas Is Paintin' the Town"), and Barbara Mandrell ("Winter Wonderland"). Furthermore, though he's not often considered a country artist, Jimmy Buffett offers a performance of "Christmas in the Caribbean," a song that is pleasing yet awfully out of place on an album titled Tennessee Christmas. Overall, however, those who admire country music, particularly the aforementioned artists, should find this collection a pleasant listen. ~ Jason Birchmeier
