David Cook's second album was written after the American Idol champ's first tour, and its songs are structured accordingly, relying on soaring hooks and U2-sized choruses that truly take flight in a concert venue. Produced by Matt Serletic, the album's June 2011 release was preceded by lead single "The Last Goodbye," written by One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder.
