Executed in a similar marionette style to his classic THUNDERBIRDS series, creator Gerry Anderson's TORCHY THE BATTERY BOY (1957-1958) tells the bizarre yet family-friendly tale of a toy child, as created by his master Mr. Bumbledrop, who zooms around in his rocket ship and interacts with the other citizens of Topsy Turvy Land. TORCHY marks the second collaboration between Anderson and writer Roberta Leigh, following THE ADVENTURES OF TWIZZLE. Included here are all 26 episodes of TORCHY's second season.
