An institution on local Los Angeles television between 1952 and 1961, Town Hall Party was a weekly television program featuring live performances from the leading lights in country music. Town Hall Party: November 15, 1958 is a video release of little-seen archival kinescopes from that evening's broadcast. Among the guests for this episode were Johnny Cash (who plays two sets), The Collins Kids, Johnny O'Neill, Bob Luman, Joe Maphis, Merle Travis, and more. Jay Stewart, who went on to become the announcer for the hit game show Let's Make a Deal, is the host.
