The latest edition of the sci-fi series is the first without Tim Thomerson, although he is seen in flashbacks using footage from previous films. But that doesn't slow down the action one bit as Zette Sullivan portrays Thomerson's daughter, who fills in for her futuristic-cop dad and goes zipping back in time to battle zombielike mutants.
