Trouble Andrew

This is an updated "reboot" of Trevor Andrew's 2007 debut album, TROUBLE. Andrew is better known to most as a professional snowboarder, but his punchy, New Wave-nodding music is too slick and assured to be dismissed as a mere vanity project. Songs like "Bang Bang" have an insistent, motorik rhythm, peppered with a nerdy allegiance to hooks reminiscent of The Cars. You can also hear the influence of Andrew's fiancé, fellow musician Santogold, in the genreless modernity of the sound.
