Stellar lead performances spark this moving romance drama. Joaquin Phoenix plays a troubled man just out of a relationship who returns home to live with his parents. Once there, he finds himself involved with two women (Gwyneth Paltrow, Vinessa Shaw). Paltrow is a new neighbor in the middle of a going-nowhere affair with a married man and Shaw is a family acquaintance with whom Phoenix is set up.
