Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns

Writer-director Tyler Perry's fourth film is an uproarious, insightful comedy about a hard-luck single mom (Angela Bassett) from Chicago who attends her long-estranged father's funeral in rural Georgia and meets a clan of offbeat relatives she didn't know she had. Former NBA star Rick Fox costars as a college hoops coach who is romantically interested in Bassett. Perry costars as Joe and has a cameo as his recurring character, the larger-than-life matriarch, Madea.
