While it doesn't pull from every single one of Adriano Celentano's records, Unicamentecelentano still does a very good job of capturing some of the singer's biggest and most important songs, as well as some lesser-known ones, too. Tracing his career from the 1960s through 2006 (pop star Alex Britti even adds his guitar on the track "Oh Diana"), the compilation includes tracks like "Ciao Ragazzi," "Un Albero di Trenta Piani," a live version of "Il Ragazzo della via Gluck," "Il Tuo Bacio è Come un Rock," "La Ballata de Pinocchio," "Stai Lontana da Me," and "Mondo in Mi 7a," all of which show off his soaring tenor, his playfulness, and his distinctively Italian sensibility. More or less listed chronologically, the 42 songs on the three-disc set are a great way for Celentano fans to add to their collections, but an even better way for someone interested in the singer's best work to get acquainted with it. ~ Marisa Brown
