Urban Jungle

The anamorphic 16:9 transfer is a pleasant surprise for a direct-to-video film starring a cast of largely unknowns. The 5.1 Dolby Digital sound is also a delight (2.0 is also provided), and the text "Director and Cast Filmographies," brief as they are for most of the folks involved, are helpful. The overall quality of the transfer is excellent, although some of the images are victims of the sometimes washed out lighting of the low-budget production. Still, that's no distraction when the story is this strong.
