Urlaub Fürs Gehirn

On their fourth album, Urlaub Fürs Gehirn, Berlin's anarcho hip-hop group K.I.Z. continue the provocative tongue-in-cheek humor of their previous efforts: whether satirizing Thilo Sarrazin's anti-immigration book on "Doitschland Schafft Sich Ab," telling the gruesome story of an unemployed father who kills people and cooks them so he can feed his child on "Fleisch," or raving over the use of weed on "Koksen Ist Scheiße," K.I.Z. revel in drastic imagery and absurd humor. The album, which features ten different producers (among them Gee Futuristic, Robot Koch, and Tai Jason), entered the German album charts at number four. ~ Christian Genzel
