Best Actor nominee Peter O'Toole turns in a bravura performance as a lusty elderly thespian who becomes infatuated with an unpolished working-class teen (Jodie Whittaker) whom he takes under his wing. A wry and thoughtful meditation on aging and beauty. Vanessa Redgrave stands out as O'Toole's ex-wife.
