The Alto Adige Festival in Dobbiaco, Italy mounted this 2012 stage production of Giuseppe Verdi's 1845 opera +Alzira, with a cast that includes Francesco Facini as Alvaro, Thomas Gazheli as Gusmano, Joshua Lindsay as Ovando and Ferdinand Von Bothmer as Zamoro. The Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento lends symphonic accompaniment under the baton of Gustav Kuhn, with Marco Medved serving as choral master. Andreas Leisner did the scenic conception.
