Falstaff

Based on a character from William Shakespeare's +Henry IV, +Falstaff is one of the most notable operas by 19th century Italian composer Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi. This release from Arthaus Musik features a 2001 performance of the work from the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. The title role is sung by Willard White and music is provided by Orchestre de Paris under conductor Enrique Mazzola.
