Godfather of electronic music Klaus Schulze issued the last volume of his epic archival La Vie Electronique series with a massive 15th set, released in 2014. The lengthy proceedings include the nearly 80-minute-long 1997 track "'Nuff Said," recordings from a 1998 concert in Bologna, Italy, and three tracks Schulze made in collaboration with cello player Wolfgang Tiepold. As always, Schulze's groundbreaking work with synthesizers and sequencing goes through various modes of experimentation and reflection, taking turns meditative, pastoral, and even aggressively charged throughout the course of the collection. ~ Fred Thomas
