Villain

Hal Needham's odd Western-comedy The Villain comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Thai subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include bonus trailers of other titles. This is a bare-bones release from Columbia TriStar that is difficult to recommend to anyone other than those with an interest in the film itself. There is little here for the average DVD consumer.
