Waiting for Guffman

A satirical "mockumentary" in the style of "This Is Spinal Tap" focuses on the attempts by a New York theater director (co-writer and director Christopher Guest) to stage an amateur musical extravaganza in the fictional town of Blaine, Missouri, in order to impress a hotshot Broadway producer.
