Wheely is a young race car on the cusp of winning a city-wide race when he tragically crashes. With parts he cannot afford to get repaired and racing already out of the picture for him, he becomes a taxi instead. One day, he meets Bella, an Italian high-end car, and he immediately falls in love. The thing is, she already has a boyfriend ― the rich and powerful Ben. When Bella falls into the hands of criminal mastermind Kaiser, Wheely and his friends hatch a plan to save her.
