Woman in White

In this adaptation of the Wilkie Collins novel, the ghostly apparition of a mysterious woman in a white ball gown unnerves Mr. Fairlie (Richardson), who has recently been hired by Mr. Hartright, the master of a Victorian manor, to teach his two nieces. But what's even more alarming is that one of his visiting nieces resembles the apparition Mr. Fairlie has seen exactly. The nieces, intrigued, begin a search for the diaphanous figure that leads them into harrowing danger.
