Lil' Cease, the don of Junior M.A.F.I.A., drops his debut solo album THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO on Lil' Kim's Queen Bee Records. With guest spots from artists like Total ("Dolly Baby"), Redman ("Future Sport") and Lil' Kim ("Play Around"), Lil' Cease works his magic on a number of different types of tracks. There are R&B-flavored treats ("Work it Out") and underground bangers as well ("More Dangerous"). You can hear Cease having fun on the mic, showing off his skills. "I'm bringing the real fun [stuff] back to hip hop," he proclaims at one point. Other tracks that stand out are "Get Out of Our Way," "Need a Lady," and "Long Time Coming." Though this is only his debut album, Lil' Cease seems poised to deliver plenty of hit material. Forget raising the roof, THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO knocks the door down.
