WOOD AND WATER

Anke retires from her job and anticipates meeting up with her children during their holiday. Yet the plan hits a snag when Anke's youngest, Max, reveals that he cannot leave Hong Kong, where he lives, due to democratic protests halting all operations. Anke then vows to visit her son, a journey that forces Anke to confront her inner turmoil and make peace with herself as she moves forward in her life.
