Vibraphonist Emil Richards' "Yazz Band" essentially played a rhythmic form of Latin-jazz. Comprised of the leader, pianist Paul Moer, bassist Al McKibbon and three percussionists, the group performs three originals, three jazz standards and a couple of Thelonious Monk tunes; highlights include "Friday the 13th," "Little Niles" and "Half and Half."
